    Hi,
Can anyone tell me what size spool bearings for this reel. Talked to daiwa today and they want £6 odd for the l/h side one and you've got to buy the whole spool assembly for the gearbox side one which is £30 odd. Just asking incase anyone already knows which will save me having to measure them.

The bearings in the reels are standard bearings. They can be had for less than £1.00 each from various sites off the net. Ie. the 4x11x4 is a very common bearing used extesivly in the radio model circuit. They cost about 90p each and are commonly sized up as 694zz.

Agree, I've got bearings from a model shop before. I also get my c-clips for the 7ht handles there too, £1.30 for 10

yer agree, you could get standard bearings in these sizes for a couple of quid. As well as model shops you can get them from any bearing supplier like bob says bill quay is one of them. Just thought I'd try marco's suggestion and give the abec 7's a shot
