Amble open
We fished half way between the doctors house and craster. A lad just along from us had six fish and one looked like a double so I think the result sounds right.
Two lads to our other side had four cod a piece all about the two pound mark. One of them lost a cracking fish off.
The five of us had one cod between us. Nearly all the fish were on white worm and peeler cocktail. We had all sorts of bait but nee whites or peeler.
A big thank you to the staff in the club on the morning doing the sausage and bacon sarnies and the tea and coffee.
The organisation of this competition was second to none. Other clubs should take note of how it is run.

We got caught up behind every slow thing on the way there! Traffic lights you name it. Hey i have respect for them not letting us weigh in, shows they follow their rules. I think i was just a tad miffed as literally we got to the line 2 mins late.
Golden rule. If you have fish you make sure you leave enough time.
1 hour is ample. Theres nothing worse than have a long time to weigh in.The 'five plums!' Northumberland sea league champions.
