  • Bass season ?

I have a quick question. I know there are increasing numbers of Bass being caught from the NE coast and everyone is after one. I have never caught a Bass, my early fishing years where all spent around Whitehaven where there were very few Bass around.
Is there a season for Bass ? I have been fancying fishing the likes of SS big beach targeting Bass for a while now, it seems that not many people are fishing SS beach and I know there must be some Bass there at the right time of year. Is there a better time and a worse time of year ?
    Thanks.

I fish Hartlepool and have had a fair few bass I've found I catch a lot more in the summer on a running ledger not to far out after a few days of sunshine and when the sea is kicking up a bit the baits I use are good rag and they never fail when looking for bass no more than 40 yards out usualy behind the first decent wave I have a bit of luck hope this helps
