nots!

Does anyone know of any nots to use in rigs that don't kink the line, or am I just doing it wrong? Just wondered if it wasn't kinked might be easier to get out and set up when I get there.

I've tried with loads of spit, pulling as slow as I can and a couple of diffenrent nots, or is it just something I'll have to live with?

In my experience mate (mainly coarse fishing up to this year) if the line kinks its knackered. So long as you lubricate knots and tighten carefully you should be ok. I think some people use that lip salve stuff to lubricate knots, but me I just use a bit of saliva.

What brand / strength line you using? And which knots do you use?

Got VFM 60lb from reelsport, and ultima 20lb, don't know the name of any nots but I seem to have one that isn't kinking anywhere near as bad now!
