          got mine back about 1 year ago cost me £135 from this catalogue
          slosh 20 it is, smashing reel, fancy a 30

            I think value for money wise you can\'t fault it johnny coupled with a r/t accelerator rod and your set for beaches and rocks

                iff you want cheep rod and reel with decent make try looking in jims dicount tackle type it in search banner jims of cornwall is site quality rods and reels and verry verry cheep

                    well thank you all, i went shopping today and picked up a greys orion rod? i like it, may be crap but i think its alright to learn with, and shakespeare adessa fixed spool, had a lucky start today to, managed to land myself 6 fish, not alot however one was a cod and what i class as large ish, made a nice tea.

                    cheers for the advice everyone, hope to keep seeing people about in here.

                        Well done mate, Hi and welcome to nesa, persevere witha multiplier, you will be glad you did, and you will probably find a more expensive one more forgiving under bad casting techniques. Dont take that as a criticism on your part tigger. Im talking from experience, my casting improved when I bought a slosh 30 ( well at least i didn get as many nests.) that said... Ive blanked my last 4 sessions!!
