Help advice please

Got a few old rods that I want to rebuild myself, just for practice really, my grandad used to whip rods for the tackle shop him n my nana had but he said everything's changed from when he used to do it, all I'm after is a bit of advice on ware to start best materials to use etc ...

paul try you tube am sure there is a few clips and tips on there for basic
rod repair and building also give Fish fingers a P M am sure he'll be able to help you aswell

Cheers mate I've been doing a lot of research the only thing I'm stuck on is do sand right back to the carbon or not and also do u applie a varnish to the black before putting eyes on
