      nowt wrong with the g-mags
stronger than a abu6500 but not as strong as a 525! clean to mixed ground a very good reel got two g-mag6s had no trouble what so ever with them!
ive heard the only slight problem is that if you put far too much pressure on the pinion gear it strips but ive not had any trouble with mine at all

g-mag7s are stronger than g-mg6s so you should have no bother at all!

I use g-mags, clean bearings, drop of oil, pull the blocks out and let the mags do there thing, i love em, nice and smooth, never had a problem in the rough!
If its got t1ts or tyres, its gonna be trouble.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical problem

Do you end up with 2 knots in that case?
                    Cheers.
