I like them. As long as the bait clip at the bottom works the swivels will be fine.
      PBs...Cod 8lb2oz.. Turbot 3lb2oz.. Whiting 1lb8oz.. Coalie 1lb9oz.. Flounder 1lb7oz.. Dab 15oz.. Plaice 13oz.. Bass 1lb 6oz

what rigs are you using them for? I used to use them for my loop rigs but found if i put any power into the cast they'd bend straight!. When I make my loop rigs now instead of a cascade swivel I use a lead link with a baitclip, I can whak them as hard as I like

Thanks lads and probably for 2 hook flappers with bottom hook tucked behind the lead, just fancied trying them so I can stick a bit of umph in my cast and keep the bait tidy at the same time

they wont work like that mate. You have to have the top snood clipped to the cascade, obviously the next snood coming off the cascade going to another baitclip. If the bottom snood isn't clipped then the top hook wont stay on the cascade.

The top snood will be clipped to the cascade and the bottom snood to the lead I meant lol

i think the confusion is because u said a 2 hook flapper m8 instead of clipdown.
                bill.
i used 2 use them on all my loop rigs m8 but make my own now with gemini clips unless used on 2 hook loop rigs 4 flats & whitties.

Work every time for me but as said but they can bend straight if you put to much tension on the snoods. I use just enough tension to hold the hooks in place and try to aviod stretchy line, amnesia will stretch after a while and make the snoods to long as for bait clips i tend to stick with impact shields or impact leads

like shaun said above . not had any probs on my loops rigs . i do sometimes substitute srt springs for length of neoprene tubing and a bead for similar effect. i use sakumja 60lb rig body n not had a prob yet. i also use tronix pro rolling clip swivel which is basically their version of cascade swivel . hope this helps. i use these swivels for loop rigs .
