  • Few Steetly pics.

Down visiting today so thought i,d try out camera fror xmas.
No fishing today. Visited the old fella with me staffie dog then had a look at one of my favourite old girls. Steetly. (Note the gulley by the sixth leg. This was about 3-4 ft deep and looked spot on for fish when tide came up.)

This a shot back to the old works.

All of the old timber stacked up neatly.

Climbed up on top and despite a fence and lads working got a shot of the old site. Will be canny housing estate here when its done.

On leaving could,nt help think what the plans were for the pier and concrete roundhead.

    Tight lines Mick.

I used to fish there a lot last year, great spot. I heard back then, just before they chopped it, and just after that bloke fell through the manhole on the roundhead, that the wood is a very valuable wood and has been sold to some chinese company, they are waiting on them dismantling it as no-body will take responsibility for the pier.

Fished just to the left of the pier the other day, belted out a few decent casts at high tide but nothing not even a nibble never had the chance to fish from it.
