  • Craster Catch Report 4/12/03

I fished there earlier on with Scott AKA BIGMAN. Nowt massive but 5 codling between us (he won 3-2!), the best at around 2lbs see below caught by the victor! I apologise to anybody who is scared by the sight of him in the pic, but he\'s happy because it\'s twice the size of the puddlers he normally catches! (meeow!)

Both mine were around 1 3/4lbs, like twins!

They didn\'t seem to have any interest in lugworm earlier on with fish falling to crab/mussel/squid cocktails. but as it started to flood the fish were caught (and more lost!) on cocktails with lug included.

I personally missed two arm wrenching bites and it turned out to be one of those nights as the contest went on to see who could lose the most leads in a single session. Scott won with 8! LOL

We were south of the football pitch Charlie, heading towards Black Hole. It had flattened right off so it was suprising to be getting bites just about every cast but getting them out is a different game altogether!

Probably 2 1/2 down 3 1/2up. Generally fishes better on the flood there but someone had to go to work this morning for 6:30.
