what would be the best scratching around rig to pick up some smaller fish if theres not much about? flappers or something else...

I use a one up, one down flapper (this means one hook hangs below the lead and the other is up above the lead).
I use size two aberdeens and twenty pound hooklengths.
I recently used size 1/0s and thirty pound snoods and really notice a negative difference in how many of my bites were hooked.

2 hook boom rig, 1/0 hooks, 50lb rig body and 30lb snoods, I find 15lb and 20lb tangle too much IMHO.Comment
