    hi im from hartlepool and just started beach fishing again, i also go out in the kayak,
    i used to fish years ago and there was plenty of bait, is there anywere near to hartlepool to dig a bit, every were ive been seems dug out, cheers jeff

    I would be very surprised if members tell you where to dig as they are like gold dust mate but good luck anyway I know you can dig ragworm at sand point in Sunderland but its hard graft mate

      im from hartlepool and would be interested in digging my own bait, but never really knew where to dig so never bothered with it.

            anywhere with mud and rocks for a few ragworm, the beaches for lug but you will be lucky to find enough for a session.

            be prepared to do a couple of hours work for enough worm for a session.

            as youve found out, most areas have been hammered.
