I wouldn't be paying £50 postage, but the adverts on this site help to pay for its running.

i have also checked the site on the first page of nesa , (Fishtec) this is the same , i dont mind paying 50 notes if the item weighs a few Kg but its a fixed spool reel and that cant weigh much or need that many handeling costs ?
its a pitty really because i really want this reel , but when it shows the price at almost 70 quid and then 50 more for sending it , my budget is up the swanny

The thing to look at is whether the combined figure of reel and postage is value for money mate. I have posted many items to norway for a few pounds but many sellers list the same item differently to make their item appear cheaper or to pay less in paypal fees. That is why I say see if the complete cost is reasonable? The other option would be to see if they will let you use your own courier? I use a company here called interparcel who will collect a parcel and deliver to a home address. Good luck jonesey

Can I just point out, for the record, that there are no pop-ups on this site! Adverts, yes. Pop-up, no. Thanks

In answer to the OP's question; have you tried dropping Fishtec a line by email? May be worth a try. That does sound ridiculously high and, to be honest, I'd be more inclined to find a decent eBay seller at that price
