Fished Sunday night 2 up 2 down. Stared at Ice House, got 1 Whiting and 2 dabs but lost a few others to the snags (all fish around slack water). Moved to the beach at Seaton Sluice and got one more Whiting and a jammy mate matched me last cast with two.
Match was won with 8 for 4lb 7oz from Blyth beach.
Hi P.M we were fishing just down from you, no offence but as you turned up the fishing turned down, did you catch the fish after we left about 1030 there was 3 of us. Had some canny bites as you turned up, just could not get them to take the hook
Aye that was me that came down to speak. Had been at the Ice-House but lost fish in the snags, was losing the lot shockleader and everything although plenty of bites. Got one Whiting there as well as two undersize dabs. Only came to the beach for the last hour or so but was getting plenty bites close in on fished tipped baits. Got one undersize and then another size before me mate got two on last chuck at 10.30pm. Have to say as the tide dropped back onto the gutter the bites picked up, probably why it goes quiet over high water as I think thats where they were feeding.
