[QUOTE=jamiebrennan;493587]It just goes to show how conditions can change so quickly, an old hand like Alan Charlton saying its dropped off and should be fishable at 10am in the morning and by 1-2pm its massive and dangerous again. It shows just how volotile the sea can be.

the wind has dropped off and the sea is free to lift, can't fool around with the elements, but still not as big as the other day and there will be places to fish, The Bible, Whitley Beach now the wind has dropped, two good shots should be Skitters and Paddle Mare Hole at North end at low tide, Newbiggin Bay, plus some other marks round Newbiggin, old penny Ferry landing in the Blyth, or Middens Rocks (be careful they will be slippy) just get yourself behind some nice big skeers that are giving shelter to the fish. Everybody must be out as there is nobody on here, or could you all be watching "Strictly"

Cant think of many on the south side, was too big for frenchies last night and other than north row and possibly boaties bay then most will head for the brigade hut. Stay safe if any of you head out.

The old North pier (opposite end to the rathouse) would have been good tonight if it hadnt been fenced off. The bay between the piers will have fished though.

Some big fish get in amongst the kelp beds in the bay opposite Roker pier.
