just been looking at a map of fishing marks around Cambois and there are a few behind the pier.
everytime i fish Blyth, i see waves coming through cambois pier so obviously the area gets well covered and looking from google maps it also looks like you may get cut off along the shore so i guess youd have to access the pier to get back?
anyone have any info on this area or fished it before?
    cheers

Some good marks along cambois, the only 1 where u get cut off is briars island. Only fishable on large tides and its an ankle breaking walk. Tide comes in inbetween the pier and the island first, so the pier isnt going to save you. The rocks all along cambois hole can chuck up a few fish and its hard to get cut off. Best to go down on a large low tide and have a look for yourself.

0.6m or lower tide the best, u can wade on about 2.5hrs before low water but i would only give it an hour of the flood at the most. There are 2 skeers off the back and a short lob into deep water is all thats needed. As i say, best to have a reccy about in daylight. Personally i have never fished it in the dark but have had fish there during the day.
