is anywhere fishable in this?!
im hoping its died down abit by tomorrow night,
i really want to go out tonight after seeing it this morning but its waay too wild for me cant think of anywhere suitable when its like this

The slab at the start of SS pier is fishable at the minute, fairly safe too. Sheltered behind the Brigade hut or the Italian in the corner. Wind at your back then shelter behind the buildings. Just fished it for a few hours, caught nowt though ! Fished it yesterday as well but caught nowt then either so moved to the Walkway to break the blank with an undersized codling.

Cliff marks?!
I wouldnt want to be on a cliff in this. A sheltered bay such as cullercoats harbour at low water maybe. Even then it could be too big.

Yep a cliff is the last place id want to be.
So i see what you mean by cullercoats harbour being shelterd, but doesnt that kinda defeat the point in there being a big sea on?
