Hi all, I\'m new to this site and would welcome some advice about the \'behind the houses\' mark at Cambois.

Is this a high or low water mark?
Is it best fished day or night?
Where\'s the best place to park?

    many thanks......

Hi davy and welcome to NESA, Its best fished 2 hours either side of low water at night or any time during a good sea running

Providing this is where the fish in the press were caught, you can park at the top of the back lane and walk along the path for about 50 yards or so go through the access tunnel under the railway. If its stored off with cars you might be able to park at the club car park but I\'m not 100% sure
Remember its a residential street so dont block access to houses etc
      Cheers Alan...

Ive always known it as a low water mark fished as john says two hours either side of ...as you go through the access tunnel and down the rocks onto the beach you can either go left or right if you go left you will see an outcrop of rocks called the rockers fish to the right of them at low water there\'s a hole (you can see it on a really low tide ..mon eg)if you look behind you and along the dunes there\'s a couple of small lumps the second one along is known as the elbow if your in line with that your in the right place ...The other way to go as you go down onto the beach is right walk along towards the houses and you want to be in-line with the end house and chucking towards the windmills ...you can also reach the rockers on a really low tide but take care as when the tide turns it comes in fast ...Ive found the place fishes best at night ...but have known people walk away with good bags during the day after a good sea..
