almost 5years since my pb

Well on the 24th of this month it will be 9years since i had my pb of 12.4oz.....and with me missing the start of the season i am finally able to get out on friday coming for nearly 2weeks solid in chase of possibly a new personal best or something very close with fresh bait dug and other bates on order all rigs built both rods and reels sorted bag and box sorted i can honestly say im ready and set to go.......nothing else to say but bring on the festive fishing

Not 5years sorry only 4year out its 9 lol your right but as il be fishing mostly alone i dont like using 2rods especially if there is a big sea running

well, actually my 3 best fish, 14-8, 14-6 & 13-11, had them all when i was 18 years old. those were the days!

Yup I remember those days well. I was 19 when I caught my PB, 16lb 01 oz, 33 and a half years ago. Will never beat it from the shore and probably not even from a boat!

My brother is coming up for two weeks over Christmas this year, he taught me to fish. He's 15 years older than me, the competition will be intense, my pb is 12.8 (ive had 2 exactly that same weight) his is 25lb odd from chesil. Which is cheating I say, only north east pbs count.
