Fished Lady Hole this morning, sorry to say the first thing I had to do when I got to lady was go round and pick up the litter someone else who’d been there just before had left all over the place, I’m stunned someone could stand and fish surrounded by tab boxes and bait bags that they’d thrown down. Absolutely shameful and unfortunately not the first time I’ve seen it.

The north east coast is our back yard which we have the pleasure of using for free, surely we should be proud of it and doing what we can to preserve it, not leaving our crap behind!? I’m embarrassed to be remotely associated with these people. How much effort is it really to bend down and put your litter in your box for god sake? I don’t know if it’s arrogance or a general lack of intelligence - or worse still a dangerous combination of the two.

Seriously lads, howey man, look after our coastline don’t ruin it.

Anyway, got one last night off the point around 2lb and nowt today.

Know what you mean.... Fished the haven myself the other night... Hope you get more response than me... Site seems for info only.... Pity really as some good info/lads on here in the past... Your right about the rubbish too, seem to turn up and turn the place into a s@#t tip.... Cullernose point is unreal when the mackerel are on

I completely agree with you but I think that because its self regulated really the type of people you speak of just don't seam to get it. We ALL should act as custodians of our beautiful coast and not ruin it.

I wholeheartedly agree, i try to avoid piers and busy spots on the river for that exact reason. what bothers me is they must know that if they don't clear up their own rubbish then someone else will have to, who do they think that will be?I really don't think its beyond most people to stick a carrier bag in your box for any rubbish or excess line, but then the same people will dump their rubbish on a pier next to a bin, can't win really. i continue with loathing every time i'm out to pick up other peoples s**t, i'd hate someone to think it was off me! I'd really hate to see the state of their houses!
