    is edible peeler crab legal to use on the lincolnshire coast
    even if they are legal size limit ??

    sless you would have to contact the sea fisheries office for that area. All areas have different rules.

        Edible crab can\'t be used as bait in the NE region, which goes as far south as Donna Nook on the Lincolnshire coast.

        Not sure about further south, as the Eastern region website is down at the moment.

                  In my paper copy of the Eastern Sea Fisheries Bye Laws (13 December 2001), Byelaw 5 prohibits the use of edible crab for bait.

                  Eastern Fisheries region covers from Donna Nook, Lincolnshire to Dovercourt, Essex.
