Fished shields pier yesterday got there for high water and noticed the rail end was taking a hammering so decided to fish the first gates as a lot of the other anglers had the same idea an hour into the session I notice a lad walking towards the pier and climb round the gates with two young boys who couldn't have been more than 7 or 8 I don't know if he was from round here but my mate warned him about the conditions on the pier and he made the right choice to be honest I'm just a bit narked that people not doing there homework especially if ur responsible for the young coz if there was a freak wave they'd have stood no chance and there was plent of freak waves yesterday

Some folk are just plain fecking thick, they think they are invincible and nothing will happen to them, the sea takes no prisoners and does what it want's when it wants.
