  • Fished Horden today

Well a good friend of mine, Martin(Muts) came down from newbiggin for a change and with a promise from me he would get cod. Big Phill joined us at and we met at my place. The day was set to be a good one, however my wife took me out to the Copthill for my Bday meal last night(very nice) so I was rough as a badgers arse this morn. We arrived at Horden at about 8.45am with the tide going out, so we set up directly off the small car park. We all cast out Phill gets a rockling first cast, then a 2lb ish bass!! second cast and that was that untill, the tide turned. Martin and I had the odd knock, but Phill was murderering the whities every other cast. When we got they this morn there was only one other lad fishing when we left I counted 52 wow, it looked like a picture of a busy Dorset beach you see in Sea Angler. Alas no cod, but good crack and thank you lads for being patient as I was like Ozzy Ozbourne this morn.
Our thoughts go out to the two gentlemen and they families who got in trouble while fishing last night.
North next time Phil your long casting was difference today matey.
    Tight and safe lines lads...
