  • Pilchard oil?

Sorry, I know I keep asking loads of questions, but i\'m gearing up for the winter!
Does anyone know where i can buy Pilchard oil mail order?
I know lots of places that sell small bottles but i want a bigger bottle of it. The biggest i can find is half a litre.
    Cheers guys!

Aye, but not to be served for me (unless I don\'t catch any cod this winter!)
Infact if someone knows where i can get cheap smaller bottles i\'d be intrested in that too.
I think I\'m after the thinner (winterised?) stuff, not the really gloopy stuff(already have some of that, but not cheap).

Just spend your money on worms or crab geoff, better value for money.

And get some mackerel as well

I know, I\'m just looking for something to give me a little extra edge this winter.
I\'m going to try a few diffrent things and see if they affect my catch rate. If not, well nothing ventured nothing gained.

they do a bigger bottle at Veals but it\'s not huge.

Got some razor soaked in pilchard oil in the freezer which our lass goes mad about when she smells it.

I don\'t think it hurts anything to try different things as sometimes you can have something in your bucket that will improve your catch.
As long as it doesn\'t become an addiction it is fine. I am sure we all know someone who trys different things every other week lol. Sticking with your natural baits and maybe trying different things now and again won\'t hurt anything Geoff.
Peter Swmbo has no sense of humour about smells either, would be better if she had no sense of smell lol.
