Maybe a couple of feet? I\'m plating around with tail lengths and stuff.
Do tackle shops sell it unformed? I mean just a straight length of it, no eyes etc.?
        Cheers

Sorry to mess you all about but i am talking about the wire used in the EYE of the lead (thanks allan), not the actual \'grippers\' or tails as I now know them to be known. Does anyone know where i can get this stuff?

                geoff

hello student, frasers sell them but only in aprox 4-5 inch length you can leave both eyes on to make use of the full length of the wire.

Cheers John but i want the lengths of wire to be longer than normal and without the eye. If i could find somewhere to get lengths, that would be great.

About seven inches would be great i think ( I sound like my lass ).
That should give me room to play about and experiment.

I suppose that gives me a reason to look forward to going back to college.
On second thoughts, no, even thats not enough.
