  • Burnmouth Harbour,

I spoke to a lad the other day who had some excellent fish from here over the winter, has anyone fished there to confirm its a good shot (Stores lol) .Says he got snapped off twice with huge fish as well but landed fish upto 12lb and has also had Pollock just under 10lb,did\'nt have a reason not to believe him as he\'s gave me info before thats been correct.
    Cheers Alan...

burnmouth harbour wall (the high one) is an excellent high water shot casting right up the gulley. Had cod to 8lb and sometimes loads of wrasse down the wall on the float.
You need to have a head for heights as the walls about 30ft up and only about 5ft wide and has no railings!!

Have never fished off the pier since they put the higher bit on but there are plenty fish from the gullies at low water (south side of the main gulley). Also never fished it in the winter but it\'s much shallower than most marks up there so can\'t see any reason why it shouldn\'t fish.

Can\'t get my photos to load so have stolen this one off the net. You can see the gullies just beginning to bare on the south of the harbour.
