Marks at Boulmer don\'t tend to fish in the summer although there are flatties all along the shoreline at high water. Better jumping in the car and heading up Craster way, although I haven\'t heard of owt coming from that way either. Amble/Warkworth piers may still be producing Mackies. Where you stayin at Boulmer Ray?

I\'m staying up there towards the end of October. Just by Longhoughton/Sugar Sands. Is that likely to be a good time?

Providing the weathers nice and cold, and we`ve have some good stir-ups, try some of the Howick marks.

Rough ground, but always the chance of a good fish.

From the Genus \'Lane\' Ray. Me dad had the pub from the mid 70\'s til the mid 80\'s and his dad had the pub b4 him. Never heard of the Fieldings. Get cod from some of the marks in the winter but haven\'t heard of any from Boulmer at this time of year unless you go in a boat.

Seaton Point is just up from the caravan park m8. good chance of flatties all along the shore there. If you fish the rocks on the left hand side as you go down the steps, either first couple of hours of the flood or last couple of the ebb.....you may hit on lucky and nail a cod but chance would be a fine thing. I would have come along for a sesh with y, but am working at Inverness on Saturday and at the Alnwick Castle Tournament on the Sunday
