          Codlip, have you decided yet.

Are you new to the area, thinking about joining the S/S club or are you an ex member who left because of the way the club was run.
If people think you are an idiot, why speak and remove all doubt !

            Codlip ?

Codlip, having waited quite sometime for your reply to my post it is pretty obvious you are not going to reply.
It would have been less obvious of who you are if you had registered as Rutland Roach.

You have made a total of 2 posts as codlip and both postings are littered with lies, however I must add the way you tell them sounds very convincing.

First post, New to Area: you said you checked out the shop in Dean Road and made certain remarks which were not good for the shop, you praised another shop as if you had stumbled upon it through someone you had spoken to whilst fishing on South Shields pier. You never checked the shop out in dean road and you already knew about A Line Baits as you were a partner in the business and had been since day one.

Second post, you claim to have been a past member of the South Shields club and left because of the way it used to be run, You were never a member.

You also continue to say “the open this year was another success….”

In actual fact the open numbers were well down on previous years,
If people think you are an idiot, why speak and remove all doubt !

In response to yours truly !!! what gives you the right to question who i am not that i have to explain myself to you !! but to fellow members who might be questioning my reasons for postings ( or lack of them,) i used to live in South Shields a long time ago, and have recently returned and use as a base back in England, as i spend a lot of time overseas, when i lived in South Shields there were only two tackle shops and they have both gone, and no i did not stumble across A Line Baits but was recommended to it by a fellow fisherman,I don't know who you are Yours Truly but you sound like a very bitter man Why? i have no desire to find out. And yes i have visited the shop in Dean Road and my previous comments still stand ! and the open competition i was not commenting on numbers as you have stated but relaying back word from happy anglers that fished it.Hopefully your confusion may now be solved . (happy new year )

The happy anglers you spoke to must not have weighed in because the amount of people that complained about the prize table was numerous to say the least.
One person actually asked me two weeks ago if ASDA was the main sponsor of the club.
Numbers down by 100 off the previous open equates to £1000 less in takings for the club,so i reckon apart from that and all the negativity running round the north east match scene regarding the open,it was a success,in your eyes. All The Best.
