CVFM "Gone Fishing" Radio Show

CVFM "Gone Fishing" Radio Programme broadcasts each Saturday from 8 am to 10 am. with live reports from England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales on all angling disciplines. You can tune in live on CVFM Radio 104.5fm "Listen Live". The programme is also put onto Mix Cloud from the following Monday, where it can be heard at any time. This week's special guest is the Editor of a French angling magazine called "Fishing & Travel". The magazine is available now in English and the photography is stunning. I spoke to the Sub Editor three or four weeks ago and, when I asked her if the magazine covered the whole world, she said "Yes". I asked if that included England and she said "No - just Ireland - because the fishing in England is no good", which rather put my back up. If it is no good, how is it that we have three great top class angling magazines for the sea angler.

Over the next few weeks there are some excellent guests lined up. Next Saturday, 21st, especially for the Coarse Angler is ex-England Team Manager Dick Clegg, OBE, MBE. The following Saturday, 28th, Bill Brazier from Kerry, Southern Ireland, who is a fish ecologist.

Three great top class sea angling magazines are for readers and are no reflection at all on the quality of sea angling in Britain or England. My next door neighbour buys a super car Mag every month but he will never own a super car.
Sea fishing for the most part in the UK is crap most of the time. Hopefully things will improve when we kick the Euro's out of our fishing waters and stop them raping our fishing stocks.
Maybe worth a programme on the benefits to fishing of leaving the EU..?
