Alright mate. 250+ views and no reply eh??
Never fished straight off the back of the sand dancer like but parking and access is spot on. U could park there and walk towards marsden and find a mark along there some where cos theres plenty to choose from but i dont know there names.

I've fished it a few times. The north end close to the pier foundations can be very productive with a small swell on as can the south end (trow rocks). Tbh though most of the beach can fish well. Over low water can produce but towards high water with the beach shelving quite steep there can be a fair bit of water and therefore very productive. Plenty of flatties in calm conditions but with a bit sea on some cod and coalies and maybe a cheeky bass . Not an expert on this beach although born and bred as not fished it loads but can be very good on its day. It doesn't have a worm bed although worms seem to be most productive. Just seen this post or could have commented earlier even as vague as this may be. Lovely safe and clean place to fish though although pretty pointless on a big sea as white water can go back some way

Hi mate I've noticed lads fishing in front of the sandancer during darkness when I've bean in the pub, I've walked along that beach lots of times and there is a deep gully more or less in front of the pub on a low tide and it tends to get some strong currents there as well and one to the left about 50-60 yards from the pier as I haven't fished it I can't say how it fished which is a Shame as I've lived in shields all my life, It's one of those marks I keep saying I'm going to try but when I get down just go the usual spots

Fish this beach pretty regularly all all times of the year - like any beaches it has its good days and bad spells but I have found that by fishing after dark I have had plenty of whities, coalies and flatties plus the odd cod up to 3 pound by fishing in the holes and gulleys - its worth checking out at low water where the holes are - Like to fish it in a small to moderate swell at high water in front of the waters edge or at the trow rocks end

great easy fishing spot to fish close to the rocks as possible i have had some nice bass there in the summer and cod to 6lb there fishes best 2 days after a big swell on worm baits and razor distance can pay off there when the ides pushing in

Get some rag also and fish after dark, 30-50 yards is all you need.

Plenty smaller fish but there's always a surprise or two on the cards.

Weirdest catch was 3 Mackerel all over 2lb, best 2lb 10oz at 1am in the morning!

Never go swimming with bow legged women.

I've always found it fishes best on a big low, with a bit swell on. Fish straight in front of the sandancer
