Set my stall out when away for one of the monsters of La Santa Lagoons, big sting ray moved in as well but didn't want to hook that though. While fishing for mullett, beam etc, had a rod out baited with 4oz mullett, second day reel was screaming, played the fish which made a few jumps for about fifteen minutes, at one time the fish just stopped and for 3-4 minutes it was almost stale mate with me gaining about a yard of line, then off it went on another long run, got about thirty yards of line back when about 70yards out it jumped, shuck it's head vigorously and threw the hooks. A few days later another screaming run, fish took off, didn't think it was going to stop, eventually it did but after another couple of minutes hooks came out, the bait a mullett head, which are quite hard was squashed when retrieved along with a couple of bent trebbles and well chewed wire trace
