NOT SURE IF IT FAIR COMPARING THEM AS RELAY IS A BAIT CLIP GENERALLY USED AT BOTTOM OF RIG BODY AND CASCADE GENERALLY USED IN THE MAKING OF 2/3 HOOK RIGS, WELL THATS THE WAY A USE THEM

Cascades are superior as with relays the swivel cant turn 360 on the line causing it to tangle,i use relays upside down for up and over rigs and they are great for that .......Angling Trust/UKCC Level 2 Sea Angling and Coarse Fishing Coach at www.fishingnortheast.co.uk or follow us on Facebook fishingnortheast.co.uk

i use both of em . cascades for dropper , portsmouth loop . tend to use relay for basic rigs like single 6'0 clipped down , or pulley. personal opinion . i find that relay clip is also not best suited to hooks smaller than 2.0 . hope this helps.Punch and pull then let rip
