    Hi all

    im looking at starting up my sea fishing after a long time out as ive been mainly freshwater fishing im no pro but know the basics but what has always confused at is when is the best time to fish the tide i know it depends on where your fishing rocks/peir/beach
    is it 2hours coming in then 2hours at high tide or the other way
    any help will be much appiecated

    Depending on the mark 2hrs either side of the tide (low or high) is normally best although there are marks that you can fish at any stage of the tide

      In general, I prefer fish. After dark is usually better. When the sea is dying down after a storm is more productive than when the sea is flat calm or too rough.

        weres your location,please.

        id suggest you put a post up,say 2 days before you go fishing.
        tell us were you intend to fish,that way im 100% possitive you will get some great advice,re times to fish your said area.
        as title says,even telling us your location,will get you some good advice for your location.good luck..

          If you plan to fish the river then the flood on a small to medium tide is best.
