  • High water marks

    High all am fishing tomorrow night and want to pick your brains! Am looking for a high water mark batween amble and newbiggen. Not fishing the cliffs so that's that all ready knocked on the heed! Any help will be great.

    beacons will fish the morn but it will be horrible underfoot, maybe the back of the power station or behind the camp on the shore road but it could have dropped off to much for there. if you have time check duridge at low water to find a nice hole then fish it over high for billy bass

      Thanks mate for getting back to me. I have thought of the Beacons but think if the sea picks up it might be a little riscky for the waves coming over. power station you on abaout alcan? and the camp on the shore road where is that?

        the camp is the gypsy camp on the lynmouth to cresswell road along the shore road pull into the layby about 300yrds north of the camp and go walk ESE over the heaps until you reach the water then the shot is about 100yrds south. again if you have never fished lynburn then i would recommend going at low water and scouting the area it makes future visits a lot easier hope this helps

          Ah right I know where it is now! Used to fish lynburn a lot when I was a kid. Well thanks for all the info mate. Fingers crossed illnesses posting on the catch reports on thursday
