All right lads just got a job start in Norway till December , just looking for any info off any lads who have been fishing over there and if they have ever fished haugesund area ? That's where am staying any info be appreciated . Cheers

Its got a canny harbor, easy access for fishing where the fast craft docks.We were there in the summer a few years ago but plenty of 2 / 3lbs coalies use prawns as bait from the prawn man every couple of days next to the ferry dock. Iv worked in that yard across the bridge not to bad mate but lots of deep water i never took any winter fishing kit with me wish i did but i was only there 3 weeks.
First find who the job is for ie shell, bp or what ever and some of the bars in Haugesund are subsidize buy the client so just say you work for them,,,,,,,,,beer is half price.
Sorry cant help no more but sure their will be some nice fighting fish that time of year. Bloody cold take some fire for your pocket haha good luck and stay safe -
