I would like to thank all the Anglers who fished the John Stephenson Open today. The Club is over the moon with the turnout and results. We would like to express our thanks to the local tackle shops and local business community who have supported us greatly.
Results.
105 Anglers fished, 101 Seniors and 4 Juniors.
21 Seniors and 1 Junior returned to the scales.
Junior winner was Harley Thompson with a flounder weighing 414g.
Heaviest Flat Fish went to Steve Potts with a Plaice of 870g.
Heaviest bag went to Arron Stead with a bag weight of 7960g.
3rd Heaviest fish went to Steve Dixon with a Cod of 1675g.
2nd Heaviest fish went to Andy Rutherford with a cod of 2040g.
1st Heaviest fish and the winner of the John Stephenson Memorial Open Trophy was Arran Stead with a Cod of 2355g.
