Be careful with the words bullet, there are loads of variations. The glass tipped one's are no good in kelp but an lt bullet will handle it no bother.

An lt14 is much softer than an lt bullet.

No problem, these are the ones I can think of but im sure there are even more to confuse matters!

            Original pendleteque bullet
            Tournament international bullet
            Bullet Sport
            Lt Bullet
            Dymic LT Bullet
            Bullet GT
            Bullet GTxl

            Crazy really!!

The LT bullets are good for cushioning the lunges of a good cod but do have a through action!

Good advice! but even ringing patterns can affect the same blank and the way it feels.

BNHG's kill most rods as do heavy tip rings and moving reel seats an inch or two even have an affect on the balance. I thought my TXLgt was horrible until i stripped the heavy shrink wrap off and put my own grips on.

Aye Harry, been using bagging tape and minimas for the last year or two and love them. Got the black minimas and silver ones and theres little to choose between them except the price! I just use 30-12s (7 rings +tip) on the carbon tips and 30-10s (8+tip) on the glass tips.

Never had one come loose yet and it's a damn sight cheaper than a highbuild finish. Most of my casting rods are used for fishing.

That's what I've taped onto my Zeteque tip and I like them as well, not sure how long they last but cheap so easy to replace if grooved.

                                Hi Harry,
Talk about opening a can of worms, still trying to digest what you and Chukka have been
saying. I will probably take you up on that offer as I dont know any shops in the T and W that stock them. Looks as though that Zeteque/carbon tip might be worth considering, assuming I can cast it - practice !!!!!
Are you guys taping the rings on to go tournament casting and/or go fishing as well, I can see Chukkas point of doing away with all the hi-build etc etc !!
Anyway I will be home in a few days, I can always give you a bell.
I was looking at the pics you posted about the damage at your marina, I never thought it was anyway near that bad - how there was no lives lost beggers belief.
Must be some canny old claims going in there, you would think a TOON army had gone through by all that damage.

                                Davey....

PS - Where do you and Chukka buy your Zziplexs ????????????????????
