An lt14 is much softer than an lt bullet.

Crazy really!!
The LT bullets are good for cushioning the lunges of a good cod but do have a through action!Last edited by CHUKKA; 15-11-2012, 09:56 PM.

BNHG's kill most rods as do heavy tip rings and moving reel seats an inch or two even have an affect on the balance. I thought my TXLgt was horrible until i stripped the heavy shrink wrap off and put my own grips on.

Never had one come loose yet and it's a damn sight cheaper than a highbuild finish. Most of my casting rods are used for fishing.

Hi Harry,
Talk about opening a can of worms, still trying to digest what you and Chukka have been
saying. I will probably take you up on that offer as I dont know any shops in the T and W that stock them. Looks as though that Zeteque/carbon tip might be worth considering, assuming I can cast it - practice !!!!!
Are you guys taping the rings on to go tournament casting and/or go fishing as well, I can see Chukkas point of doing away with all the hi-build etc etc !!
Anyway I will be home in a few days, I can always give you a bell.
I was looking at the pics you posted about the damage at your marina, I never thought it was anyway near that bad - how there was no lives lost beggers belief.
Must be some canny old claims going in there, you would think a TOON army had gone through by all that damage.
Davey....
PS - Where do you and Chukka buy your Zziplexs ????????????????????
