Im sitting down the little beach at northshields near the middens and can see a crane on south shields pier does anyone know whats theyre doin its right up near the round head ?

They use it to lower the divers into water. a think theres a hole under the s e corner -
I fished the pier at the 45 mark yesterday and was watching what they were doing. They seemed to be doing structural repairs involving divers.People who live in glass houses have to answer the door.Comment

One of the divers was telling me they use cement which sets under water!!! Don't know weather he was having my life or what!! HaGET OUT THERE AND STICK A BAIT IN IT !!!Comment

its a bloody big crane i know that
