    thats the problem by thumb wont even fit onto the spool
    if its balanced and loaded correctly you don\'t need to, got the feel for all of mine now, so just give em some welly, no brake blocks either!

      took it for a cast, more or less blew up....and bruised all me knuckle.
      someone will have to take a look at it for me

        You could try slowing it down with a bit heavy oil or using a slightly thicker line, but I\'d be a bit dubious about about the lack of drag adjustment, a pollack will snap you straight off as it is mate

        Stick with the fixed spool and let me know which lures you catch on
