      Hi Tim,
Great to see you back on the Board again.......just wish it was under happier circumstances.

I think it\'s disgraceful the way you have been treat over the Temples business. It\'s one thing to lose your job, but for them to ignore your calls AND keep you in the dark about the money owed to you as wages is disgusting and I\'m sure the rest of the people on here feel the same way.

The responsibility of sorting out customers queries shouldn\'t be shouldered by you, Tim......you were just an employee......the owners should be responsible for that, however I\'m sure that Jim appreciates what you are trying to do about his rod.

I hope that you don\'t get any flack over \"lost items\", Tim.....after all.....as I\'ve said, it\'s the owners who should be dealing with that.....you\'ve been dumped on more than anybody in this and you have enough to sort out for yourself.....last thing you need is former customers getting onto you about matters that should be handled by the former owners of Temples.

agree with all youve said tony but in all fairness dean and erm ross i think it is must be reeling themselves from this (excuse the pun) maybe they just need a few days to get there heads together and they can sort out standing orders etc ,but i cant see why they left tim out of the loop bad crack that

as for jims rod no doubt someone will get to the tip of the matter
        cheers Bri

Yes Bri, I\'m sure they are, but......at least they knew it was coming......and for them not to have informed their staff of the situation - you say is \"bad crack\"......I think it\'s nothing less than disgraceful.

Just seen on the news tonight about Granville Electronics going to the wall (manufacturers of Tiny and Time computers). The owners knew this was on the cards since January apparently. The 1st their 1,500 employess heard about it was 11:00am thismorning - when they were given redundancy notices.

How are people supposed to make other arrangements or look for another job when they don\'t even know their existing job is not going to be there tomorrow ?????

I\'m surprised the alarm bells did\'nt start ringing at Granvilles as Tiny/Time shops have,as far as I can tell, been closed for a few days,I find it hard to believe the GMB did\'nt know either, they are the biggest Union in the UK,shame they are sh#te,really hope someone takes them over as well,I would\'nt like to loose my job like that

Hi Tim nice to hear from you mate. If you hear anything I would be very grateful mate but don\'t go putting yourself out. Didn\'t really want to bother you about it as I knew you would be sick as a Parrot.
Will see what happens after me holidays but am certainly not going to lose any sleep over it.
Try to catch up with you for a fishing session when I get back.

                  Jim.

Yes it\'s sad if Temples goes under, especially with the background it has had (haven\'t been in for ages, and that may be one of the problems) Hedley, sadly I can remember. Worms were 2/- a packet. No refunds if you weren\'t satisfied. lol

Aye your right David, have used that shop for a lot of years myself it would be a great pity if it was lost. There are still a few shops around the area but when you live so far from the coast as me and have to depend on tackle shops to actually have the bait that you order from them it can be VERY frustrating.
I have been let down several times by certain shops and when you are doing a round trip of almost 50 miles JUST to pick up your bait for a session the following day and then to be told there is none it is VERY annoying.
You complain and some of them don\'t even care.

                      Jim.
