I can't comment on the Felix but the h14 r is spot on so powerfully light and comfortable much better than a heavy tiga
    Goal for 2012 a 30lber

I think most of the decent led lamps are good these day apart from Cree battery problems

I've just bought a Fenix HP11, which seems very good. I read lots of good reviews. It was £55 direct from Fenix and I am going to get some decent rechargeable batteries for it. so it will be about £75 all in including charger and batteries.
I've yet to use it fishing, but it seems very bright and I like the fact that you don't have to go through all of the settings to get the desired light output, like you do on the cheap crees. It feels very robust and well built too. The lensers look good too, so I guess it is just personal preference really...

Hi mate, don't discount the Lenser H7R, I got 1 and used it for first time other night in the garden to see where the firework fuses were. It lit up the garden on lowest setting so a cracking lamp, I'm looking forward to using it in a fishing situation.

Ive have got a hd lenser which is about 3yrs old and within 6mth the dimmer lever on the back snapped then stopped all together luckly on full still working now and I have recently bought a fenix hp ten off a mate and iam impressed with that it has a diffuser which spreads the light very well If I had to choose between the 2 it would have to be the fenix it has better build quality and battery seem to last a bit longer just my opinion like
