  • 2 new rings required

    I have a SK4 on one of my nights out i managed to drop the rod and busted 2 or the rings can anyone suggest someone who can do the job ? and a rough cost ? any hlp would be greatfull cheers Lee
    Tools of choice; Zziplex Zeteque TXL GT + 427 SU Tip section, Zziplex Dymic LT14, Penn 525 slidey x2, Akios Scora 80

    2015/2016 Summer / Winter season missions
    1, To catch and Ray, Doggie and a Tubot
    2, To break the 5lb codling barrier (biggest 4lb 8oz Nov 2014)
    3, Grow a pair and tell the wife im gan fishing !

        agree with 09gmarsh2009 primoman does a top job , repaired two of my rods lastweek cant fault him

          Primoman is in horden so its a canny trek from washington

          Whereas fish fingers (stan) is just down the road from you near the angel and also does a fantastic job

                Leeboy take it to Anglers United in Lynemouth where the petrol station was, Garry does a cracking job at a realy good price.

                  Most tackle shops should be able to sort it for you. I had some replaced not too long back by Reelsports in Hebburn they did a canny job and they were cheap, I think I only paid about a tenner and that was for three rings.

                    I wont name the shop but I got quoted fiver each for the rings and a fiver per ring to be whipped and could take as long as 3 weeks to 3 months on a grxs cheaper to send back to greys and get new tip section

                        £4/5 labour to take guide off and rewhip on is the average price but £5 per guide is a bit steep unless they were gold plated lol
