Thinking about trying the rathouse but after a quick look on here cant see any info on it. Any ideas on type of ground, anywhere in particular to aim for when i get there? Is there a better time to fish it? Cheers in advance

Thanks chaps, I see rods off the end regular and wondered if it was worth a bash if roker pier was shut or busy. Heading out one night this week, did the same last week and the pier was rammed. Unless I'm fishing near the end I'm like a magnet for snags lol. Might give it a bash for a change. Oh, never even set foot on it, are there railings or do need a rest?

railings half way then the end half you need a rod rest its been dredged you will not lose much casting in the middle but there are pots very close in near the end which is rediculous m8 been down there today 3 of us about 20 fish , 4 different species all under size

Thanks bud, pots are a pain! I always wonder if there are any injurys sustained by the pot men caused by lost gear snagged on them. The benefits must outweigh the risks suppose
