    I'm thinking of trying Tynemouth tomorrow off the rocks just along from king eddies bay. Does this normally produce fish through the day?

    hope it does fish as im down there from 10 ish tomorrow morning,somewhere between tynemouth and cullercoats

      Same here mate a don't usually fish the rocks mainly just piers and the tyne but well tomorrow am giving it a shot coz am after a bigfatcod. Might see you out and about mate and goodluck

        i fish the rocks quite a bit,its heavy ground and lots of kelp so id use rotton bottoms ,you dont need to chuck that far either

          good chance of a cod of the lobster pots or sh/it hill but very heavy ground as been said strong line big hooks,and rotten bottoms needed, was very snaggy when i was there monday night ,and dont do what i did,best of luck. davy

                yeah i have heard its really snaggy but well am prepared to loose gear if it means a catch a decent cod. bless you davy you have been lucky there like fella it could of been alot worse glad your ok tho mate. Thanks for the help lads carl and well a hope my lucks in tomorrow
