This Saturday, 1st July, CVFM Radio's "Gone Fishing" Angling Programme returns to the Internet. The length of broadcasting time has been doubled to two hours and will be on air from 8 am to 10 am every Saturday morning on CVFM 104.5fm - 'Listen Live'. The usual Team of Andy Rutherford, Les Weller, Anne Woodcock, Don Coe, Dave Hall and Rob Thirlwell will be joined by new presenters from various parts of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. Hamish Curry of Red Bay Boats will be reporting from Northern Ireland; Eric McLean owner of the Sports Shop, Stranraer will be reporting from the Luce Bay and Dumfries areas; Jamie Woods will join the Programme from the Glasgow Angling Centre; top Angling Journalist Phil Williams will be reporting from his home coastline of Lancashire; down on the South Coast England International Jim Whippy and Angling Trust Director who is also Owner and Editor of Sal****ger Boat Angling Magazine, Tim McPherson will be reporting from their area; Tackle Dealer Richard Holgate will tell us what is happening on the Essex Coast and; from Newport Wales, Gary Evans and from Southern Ireland, Guest House owner Paul Harris will be talking about the Beara Peninsula. Also each week there will be prizes to be won by answering a simple question by email. Kiddy & Son are donating a "Sidewinder" Goody Bag each month, The Caledonian Fly Company are giving a selection of Salmon Flies and fly-tiey Richard Fieldhouse will be giving a selection of his hand-tied barbless Trout Flies each month. The Coarse Angler has not b een forgotten as I am busy talking to a company on their behalf. Each week I will have a special guest on the Programme starting on Saturday 8th July when Simon McGowan of Sea Ace Fishing will be live on the Programme from Namibia. On Saturday 15th July Veteran Angling Journalist Mike Millman will join us and on Saturday 22nd July Nick Marlow of Tackle & Guns, plus Adrian Mayne of "Fatyak" Kayak manufacturers and on Saturday 29th July will be Sandrine Weiss who is Director of Delalande Peche, France will be live on the show talking about her Company which manufactures soft lures.
