As I\'ve been on the sick a couple of weeks, I decided to have a look at putting a few traps in the Wear, just enough for my own use. Anyway, I found some traps that looked like they weren\'t getting checked, so I watched them over 4 tides, and still no sign of life.
I went down, cleaned all the crap out of them, reset them and started to get up to a dozen crab a tide (I know its not much, but its all I wanted). Last night, I couldn\'t get down to them, so went down tonight armed with some more traps to set and found that some a***hole had went through the traps and not bothered resetting them.
I\'ve now demolished the lot, and might try again in a month or two.
