  • Whitehaven pier

Hi chaps I'm after some advice on the above mark. I'm going to fish an all nighter this Friday any advice on baits, rigs and species to catch? Also which pier is best to fish. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Fish the end of the south pier. You can park your car at the beginning of the pier. Use lugworm, mackerel or bluey. You should be able to get flatties, dogfish & hopefully codling.
I have never fished the north pier mainly because there is less water at low tide.
    Best of luck.
I will only be out for a couple of hours pet.

I have fished the concrete south pier a few times over the years and only had the odd codling, sometimes on a good sea. Had coalies, plaice and flounders all off the very end
