  • any ideas, cree 1600 charger

bought a cree 1600 just before they started to get slated, got to say they deserve all the slating they get. my charger or batteries have packed in after only 4 weeks.

anyone got any suggestions on where to get a new charger from. I havent got a clue where to start looking.

I am toying with sending the thing back and getting a refund but I need it sorted for this weekend!

I think B&Q sell battery chargers that will charge any AA and AAA rechargeable batteries. Best get new batteries as well.

I'm waiting for my new cree to arrive from Hong Kong, and will be buying new batteries straight away, as have been told the ones with it are rubbish

My Cree 1600 is spot on but I would like to understand the new battery thing as mine has a re-chargeable pack with 4 batteries wrapped in plastic, what do I do ? Is it just a case of splitting the plastic and replacing the batteries with better re-chargeable batteries?

When buying rechargeable batteries make sure you buy the highest mA you can.
