  • Filleting knife

    We have been on the look-out for a new filleting knife and found this site:

    6" Flexible Filleting Knife - Samuel Staniforth Ltd

    I particularly like the pretty colours


    Anyone used these knives? Opinions appreciated guys.
    2016 - Cod, Dab, Dogfish, Gurnard, Ling, Mackerel, Saithe, Scorpian fish. .

              Ah OK, I think a good sharpener is probably almost as important as the knife.

                That knife looks spot on mate but I would say one thing get good water stone.
                With rough on one side and smooth on the other.
                Soak it in water for at least 3hours before you use it.
                Or if you can't wait put in a bucket of water until all the bubbles come out of the stone.
                Then all you will need is some nice fish lol.
